Ahhhhh, March.
What a wonderful month. I waited all weekend for today to be here because it’s the start of a brand new chapter of life after a dreadfully long and chilly February (with one bonus day, thanks to the universe).
I started the day with a delicious breakfast of mushroom, spinach and ricotta crepes from one of my favorite breakfast spots. Bubbles of joy everywhere. Happiness and light and sunshine and fresh air. Laughing and chatting and coffee sippin’. After breakfast, a Target run was agreed upon.
I could write a whole post about how much I love Target, but I’ll save that for a day later this month. Today, the trip was relatively quick. Groceries, tea for the road, peace out, Target. As I was pulling out of the parking lot (CAREFULLY- parking lots on Sundays are absolute ZOOS), I heard a sickening SMACK,

by
a
CRUNCH.
I panicked. I have never been in an accident and I was SURE I checked both ways!
Turns out, in the span of me moving my neck from the left to the right, an elderly woman started to QUICKLY back out, without looking. She smacked into the back of my cute little civic and after checking to make sure I was okay, drove off.
Luckily, the damage was not extensive, and my dad was able to help me remove the dent with some boiling water and a plunger. My paint is fine, and I’m fine (albeit a little shaken up). But the universe clearly had its own way of bringing me into this month.
Not with a whimper, but with a BANG!
Here’s to a month full of courage, and void of crashes. To March, in all its bumper-shattering glory.
Oh no! Not a good way to start your March, but as they say, “March comes in like a lion”, so hopefully everything else will “go out like a lamb!”

Oh what a terrible way to start the month! I loved the way you broke up the lines to draw out the accident!
